User-oriented transport tracking
We know that you can only establish a successful product on the market if you know the users of the product exactly. Therefore, we also support our customers in defining the target group and their userneeds, designing the product roadmap and help to communicate the product adequately to the end customers.
Task: An overall strategy that exploits market opportunities
Our customer, a big player in the logistics industry, offered track-and-trace software as a software-as-a-service on the Google Cloud Platform. However, the existing legacy solution was not attracting enough customers to be profitable. Our task was to develop and implement an overall strategy that would open up new market opportunities for the software.
Solution: Software relaunch based on user needs
For us, a common mental model and vocabulary are the principles for a successful project. Therefore, at the beginning, we helped our client to get a clear picture of the possible target groups and their needs, and visualized this information to make it accessible and easy to understand for everyone involved in the project.
In event-storming workshops, we delved deeper into the approaches of the existing solution to capture how the system works and what expectations the software can fulfill. On this basis, we were able to advise our client on everything from software architecture to UI design details and develop a strategy for the relaunch.
Result: Marketable product in 6 months
Within only 6 months we managed to generate +300% of new customers for the software and to win many more interested parties who are currently in the test phase. In the next step, we want to focus on machine-to-machine communication and adapt the API to it in order to expand the existing customer segment and further increase the number of prospects and new customers.
