Our client's logistics processes had to be created manually based on GPS data records. By implementing a prototype based on user needs, we help the company save time, money and manpower.

Task: Make logistics processes faster and more efficient

Our customer needed to create profiles for truck terminals and derive loading and unloading times from huge GPS data sets to optimize logistics processes. These core processes were performed manually by employees and took up a lot of their time. Our goal was to automate these processes and make them more efficient.

Solution: Customized prototype based on user scenarios

We offered the customer extensive consulting regarding the system architecture, which drastically reduced the time required for model training and validation. By involving the users, we were able to identify realistic UI/UX scenarios at an early stage and take concrete application examples into account when creating the prototype.

Based on our surveys, we provided a prototype implementation thanks to which all of our customer's logistics processes can be carried out quickly and easily in the future - including provision of the API, integration with affected products to evaluate the positive effects of the model, and visualization of the results.

Result: More efficient processes for better working conditions

In just two months of development, our customer gained valuable insights into POI statistics that can be used to increase planning quality, reduce costs and, last but not least, improve drivers' working conditions.
